1. Scope of application

These conditions apply to all services and sales made by the company SBS SRL - Cavaliers des Vignes, including horseback riding and administrative and commercial consultancy services.

Any order implies unconditional acceptance of these conditions.

These General Conditions of Participation and Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Conditions") govern all services offered by Cavaliers des Vignes SBS SRL (hereinafter referred to as "the Organiser"), within the framework of consultancy services, other services and horseback riding.consultancy, other services and horseback riding.

By validating their registration and purchasing our services, the Participant acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these Conditions.

3. Participation conditions

  • The activities arereserved for riders who own their horses..
  • The Participant must beat least 18 years oldor, if they are a minor, be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • The Participant certifies:

    • having asufficient riding level.to ride outdoors and in a group at all three gaits (walk, trot, canter);
    • to bein good physical conditionand able to practice riding in the great outdoors;
    • that their horse isin good health, properlyshod or trimmed, andup to date with their mandatory vaccinations(flu, tetanus);
    • to havepublic liability insurance covering the rider and their horsefor equestrian activities.

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude, without refund, any Participant or horse that does not meet these conditions or whose behaviour would compromise the safety or smooth running of the ride.

4. Registrations and payments

  • Registration for a ride or other service from Cavaliers des Vignes is done by email or by any means specified by the Organiser.
  • Registration isonly effective upon receipt of payment.
  • Prices are expressed in euros (€), VAT included if applicable.
  • The number of places is limited; registrations are processed in the order of payments received.

5. Payment

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all services are payable in cash, on the day of the service or upon receipt of the invoice.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer or by any other means accepted by the company (see payment information on the invoices).

6. Late or non-payment

  • Any invoice not paid by the due date will incur, without prior notice:
  • late payment interest at the legal rate,
  • as well as a flat fee of 10% of the amount due, with a minimum of €40, as administrative costs.

7. Cancellation conditions by the Participant and right of withdrawal:

Any service (course, service or consultancy) cancelled less than 36 hours before the scheduled date will becharged in full, except in cases of force majeure or agreement from Cavaliers des Vignes.

For hiking stays booked online:

  • The Participant benefits from acommercial right of withdrawal of 7 daysfor any order placed on the website or by email. The request for withdrawal is made by email or using the contact form at the top of the website.
  • The legal right of withdrawal of 14 days does not apply to the sale of travel services with specific dates.
  • After this withdrawal period and more than 30 days before departure:70% refund of the amount paid.
  • After this withdrawal period and between 15 and 30 days before:50% refund.
  • After this withdrawal period and less than 10 days before:no refund will be made
  • In case of abandonment during the hike,, no refund will be made.In case of cancellation, the Organiser reserves the right to grant or not grant the postponement of registration to a later date if the Participant wishes.

In the event of cancellation, the Organiser reserves the right to grant or deny the postponement of registration to an external date if the Participant wishes.

Cavaliers des Vignes does not offercancellation insurance: the Participant is responsible, if they wish, for taking out cancellation insurance of their choice with an organisation that offers it to cover themselves in case of illness or accident preventing them from participating in the service.

8. Cancellation by the Organiser:

The Organiser may cancel or postpone the hike in the event of extreme weather conditions, logistical constraints, force majeure, or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

In this case, the Participant will befully refundedor maypostpone their registrationto another date.

9. Accommodation and meals

The stays includeaccommodation and catering, unless otherwise stated in the specific description of the hike.

  • Accommodation may be provided ina gîte, guest room,depending on the chosen option.
  • Meals(breakfast, picnic, dinner) are included unless exceptions are noted on the descriptive sheet. (petit-déjeuner, pique-nique, dîner) sont compris sauf exceptions signalées sur la fiche descriptive.
  • Special requests (vegetarian, allergies, etc.) must be communicated at the time of registration.
    The Organiser will do their best to accommodate them, without absolute guarantee.
  • Horses may be housed instables or pasture, depending on local conditions and specified in the description of the stay.
    The Participant is responsible for their horse's equipment and safety throughout the duration of their stay.

10. Conduct of the rides

  • The routes, distances, times and durations indicated aresubject to adjustmentdepending on weather conditions, the level of the riders or safety requirements.
  • Thewearing of an approved riding helmetismandatoryduring the entire ride. The Organiser disclaims any responsibility in case of non-compliance with this obligation by the Participant.
  • Thewearing of a body protectoris strongly recommended.
  • Participants agree tofollow the instructions of the guideand to adopt responsible behaviour towards other riders, the public and the environment.
  • The Organiser is not responsible in the event of a fall, injury, escape, or incident caused by a Participant's horse. Each rider remainsresponsible for their horseand for any damage it may cause to others.

11. Insurance

Each Participant must be covered by:

  • apublic liability insurance(family or equestrian) covering the rider and their horse;
  • and, if applicable, anindividual accident insurance..

As a travel organiser, the Organiser has abankruptcy insurancewith the ''Travel Guarantee Fund'' and its own professional liability insurance, which does not replace the personal insurance of the Participants.

12. Claims

Any claim must be made in writing within 7 days following the service or receipt of the invoice. After this period, the invoice is deemed accepted.

13. Applicable law

Any dispute is subject to the law of the country in which the company is established.

In case of dispute, the courts of the company's registered office are the only competent authorities.
